Surround your adopted teachers with lots of love and support! Remember, unions have worked to isolate teachers to make them feel powerless; your teachers need to know they are not alone. This should be a long-term commitment on your part.
EMBRACE
Make yourself available and be ready to answer any questions while your adopted teachers read our book, Standing Up to Goliath. The truth sets us free, so it’s vital you help your teachers to learn the entire truth. We have to be ready for attacks from the unions. The more they slander us, the better we’re doing!
EDUCATE
There’s only one way to bring people out of darkness—turn on a light! Shine the light of truth into the life and heart of your teachers. This will help to free them from any manipulation, fear, or control they are under. Share your personal stories too—we overcome by the word of our testimony.
ENLIGHTEN
Teachers believe they will lose their jobs, their livelihood, their pensions, and they are bullied when they speak out in opposition to the unions’ narrow views, so they have every reason to feel afraid. Be kind, graceful, understanding, patient, and speak to them with gentleness. Teachers have been bullied for decades; helping them to come out into the light could take a while.
